better pool

I know that there are a lot of people out there that like to play pool. Here are some easy tips to play better. Your grip and the bridge you make are critical to being able to control the stick and that is where you get a repeatable stroke on the cue ball. Then you can learn from the mistakes you will make and the successful shots that you make. Now to get a repeatable stroke your bridge should be a closed one. To make a closed bridge you first make a fist , then you wrap your index finger around the stick and spread out your remaning fingers to make a base. Your grip on the stick will be cradeled in your hand with your wrist strait like you are going to shake hands and you should hold the stick about 6 inches behind the balance point. Keep your wrist elbow and shoulder in a plane as if you were creating a pendulem. If you use these mechanics your game should improve. Happy playing.
